At Grateful Red Meat Co., we believe in knowing exactly where our food comes from and ensuring the highest quality beef for our families. That’s why we coordinate a monthly beef share, sourcing directly from a trusted local farm in Blairstown, NJ. Our beef is grass-fed, grass-finished, and completely free of hormones and antibiotics, so you can enjoy premium, ethically raised meat with confidence.
Each month, we purchase a few cows and organize a beef share from our home. Our butcher professionally processes and shrink-wraps the cuts, making it easy to identify each one. Participants in the share receive approximately 25 lbs of high-quality beef from 1/2 of a cow split among 8 people. Every share includes:
Bone-in ribeye
Porterhouse
Sirloin steak
Chuck steak
Short ribs
7–8 lbs of ground beef
2 packs of chip steak
After that, we run a fun "draft" selection process (think fantasy football style!) where participants choose additional cuts like skirt steak, flank steak, brisket, picanha, London broil, stew meat, and more until everything is claimed.
A single share costs $295, and shares can be split if you want to participate with a friend or family member. No subscription required—you can opt in or out each month as it fits your needs.
